Thrunk Albert Meth is a dwarf, and former member of the Light Shining in The Dark Party. Though he is a skilled warrior, he can often be found with a drink in hand. His favourite drink is squash wine, a beverage with high alcohol content. Thrunk’s drinking choices have led some to question his reliability in combat. Thrunk’s peculiar last name was selected after he was expelled from dwarven society, a parody of dwarven clan names aimed to amuse others while expressing distain for dwarven society.

Appearance
Thrunk is a short, burly dwarven man with tan skin and a bald head. He has a long blonde beard upon his face, stretching downwards to his chest. His eyes are hazel and he can usually be found wearing his plated chainmail armour.
Personality
Thrunk is known to be easy-going, happily traveling wherever gold, battle and alcohol are in bountiful supply. His drinking habits have gotten him in trouble multiple times, as has his ability to rouse others to drunken revelry.
History
Nickelhold
Thrunk was raised in the dwarven city of Nickelhold, far underground. When he was only six years old, he was conscripted into the Deepguard. Thrunk trained for many years, mastering the combat arts once used by The Ancestors. Thrunk was on a routine military exercise in the expansive caverns under Nickelhold, accompanied by an experienced warrior and four fellow rookies. The drill was nearly over, when a massive Umber Hulk erupted from the earth. Thrunk’s squad fought valiantly, but were unable to bring the beast down. The warrior ordered Thrunk to retreat, but Thrunk held his ground to protect his wounded companions. Thrunk threw his axe at the beast, stunning it for long enough to escape with his squad. Thrunk was dishonourably discharged from the Deepguard and exiled from Nickelhold for disobeying a direct order. Forced into the outside world, Thrunk began his career as an adventurer.
