Anima, goddess of souls is the deity of life, death and the afterlife. She is often associated with ravens, who serve as her servants and messengers. Those who worship Anima are often very devout, closely observing all passing religious holidays and celebrations. The cycle of life is considered sacred all her followers, to interfere in this process is to defy Anima herself.
Description
Appearance
During her occasional visits to the realms of mortals, Anima prefers to take the form of a tall, slender woman with long black hair and glowing silver eyes. Ten large ravens accompany her in this form, each is one of her most devout followers, transformed into an immortal raven upon death. Her touch could cause life to wither and die, though it could also foster growth in plants and animals.
Personality
Anima is a kind and caring deity, though most would not know this from simply meeting her. Many consider Anima to be incredibly cold and calculated, seemingly uncaring for the many lives she takes. In truth, she cares deeply for every soul in the multiverse, ensuring they reach their proper afterlife at all costs.
Powers
Anima manifests every soul in the multiverse, for each mortal creature born through traditional means or created by magic. Anima ultimately has absolute authority over the souls of all living beings, though she chooses to guide her subjects while adhering to strict divine law. Anima sorts the souls of the deceased, ensuring each is taken to the proper afterlife.
