Canonicus

Canonicus, god of law is the deity of law, language and history. He is often associated with tortoises, who serve as his servants and messengers. Though all members of the Golden Pantheon strive towards the ideals of law, Canonicus is especially devoted to the views held by the pantheon. Canonicus is perhaps most notable for fostering the common tongue among mortals, guiding his followers towards mutual communication despite cultural and geographic differences.

Description

Appearance

On his frequent visits to the realms of mortals, Canonicus prefers to take the form of a small, elderly man with a flowing white beard. In this form, Canonicus grants his wisdom unto any who may wish to listen. Canonicus is also fond of appearing in the dreams of his followers, granting advise that leads to great triumphs if followed.

Personality

Canonicus is known for his peculiar nature, often appearing to be a simple fool to mask his incredible intellect. Though Canonicus is quite strange, he is incredibly kind, moving slowly as to appreciate all the little things throughout the planes. Some worship Canonicus so they may simply have someone to talk to when at their lowest. Canonicus is happy to listen to the prayers of all his followers, guiding his devout when they seek assistance.

Canonicus has a perfect memory, remembering everything that ever happened since the dawn of time. Canonicus can see into every corner of the multiverse, recording events within his divine archives. Canonicus is able to master any skill or ability by simply thinking about it, making him immensely powerful even among other deities.
