High Elves are exemplars of elegance, grace and ideological fanaticism. High elves are known to be utterly intolerant towards other creatures, using their refined culture and magnificent cities as justification for their thoughts and actions. High elves share a bizarre affinity with insects, creating equipment and technology that utilizes materials naturally harvested from these creatures.

Description

High elves are quite tall and typically stand taller than the average human. Male and female high elves are roughly the same height and weight on average. High elves are surprisingly light for their height, while retaining much of the strength and endurance seen in other beings of a similar size.

High elven skin tones comprise a variety of golden shades and hues, often taking on a pale orange colour. High elven hair is typically light in tone, though its colour can range from blonde, to brown and even green in some cases. High elves have a large number of naturally observed eye colours, though brown, hazel and yellow are the most common.

High elves grow no body hair, aside from that on their heads. High elves have ears that extend upwards towards a sharp point. These ears are known to be highly sensitive and can perceive even quiet noises with remarkable clarity.

Personality

High elves are extremely intolerant towards other creatures of all varieties, viewing those around them as tools to be used or enemies to slay. High elves are known to be academically adept and use much of their long lifespans training with weaponry and studying ancient lore. The merit of one’s ability in high elven culture is typically based around the amount of knowledge they can retain. Arcane secrets are held as particularly valuable, causing powerful spellcasters to take on leadership roles.
