Orcs are a variety of fae known for their violent temperaments and cruel personalities. Nomadic raiders by nature, orcs are often seen as a nuisance to civilized creatures. Orcs are known to pillage as they roam, killing or enslaving those they come across. Orcs are seen as bogeymen in many societies and some warn that misbehaving children are taken by the creatures in the night.
When the Fae Lord Bohnk had a nasty dream, his divine magic began to subconsciously summon the first orcs into existence. When he awoke, he was surprised to find the creatures from his slumber inhabiting his previously desolate realm. Sensing an opportunity, Bohnk rallied the orcs and divided them into two groups, goblins and ogres. The creatures were assigned a purpose within Bohnk’s world, contributing to the development of the realm. The orcs began to worship Bohnk as a god, pledging to spread his influence across the planes.
Orcs are now found inhabiting many worlds, able to survive even in dismal conditions. The sheer persistence of orcs has seen the creatures flourish, often at the expense of those around them. Without the direct guidance of Bohnk, orcs split into smaller groups, tribes and warbands before dispersing across the realms. Orcs are immense in sheer number, though their reluctance to work together greatly hinders their effective strength.
