Oblitus is a large, temperate continent draped in a permanent hazy fog and an eerie orange glow. Oblitus was once a peaceful continent settled by humans and dwarves in the First Age. Unfortunately, the continent is where the demons first entered Welval during the Divine War. The massive amounts of chaotic energy channeled into Oblitus left the continent as a mere husk of what it once was. Most humans on the continent sailed east to settle Owish following the Divine War, though some chose to stay and eventually warped into modern Oblitans. The dwarves on the continent tried to escape by digging deeper underground, thinking the stones would protect them. Unfortunately chaos had warped the very ground itself, resulting in an abundance of powerful but corrupting malumite. New dwarves found within the chaos-touched rock had a distinctly grey colour to their skin and though they worked hard, something was off about them. In time these chaotic dwarves become the lost dwarves, strange shadows of their uncorrupted cousins.
