Grey ooze is a type of ooze, they most often resemble wet rock or a blob of slick oil. They can most often be found lurking in subterranean areas, though are somewhat common in swamps and jungles.
Description
Grey ooze resembles a large mass of viscous dark grey fluid. They can range in size greatly, with some grey oozes reaching a diameter of over ten feet. Other grey oozes remain small, having a diameter of under three feet.
Behaviour
Grey ooze lacks a brain and central nervous system, making its behaviours incredibly simple. This lack of intelligence makes grey oozes incredibly easy to trick or deceive.
Biology
Grey oozes are incredibly acidic, able to completely dissolve living matter in mere seconds. These oozes are known to corrode any metal touched, often breaking weapons and armour.
Abilities
Grey oozes are highly resistant to both magic and extreme temperatures. Though they have no eyes, they are able to partially perceive their surroundings in a simplistic form.
Combat
Grey oozes are known to be ambush predators, using their natural camouflage to surprise unsuspecting foes. These oozes will sometimes attack in large groups, quickly defeating a foe before they can react. The limited intellect of these oozes does not allow for tactical thinking, so grey oozes will usually attack whatever is closest.
Ecology
Grey oozes are omnivores, eating whatever they can find. They have a preference for warm, damp environments and can often be found in caves, dungeons, swamps, marshes and jungles
