Elves are a variety of fae known for their long lifespans and natural affinity for various kinds of magic. Elves typically retreat to secluded places, building magnificent structures or roaming the countryside in nomadic groups. Many elves are known to be standoffish, unkind or even cruel in some cases. Some varieties of elves have even been known to take slaves, seeing themselves as superior beings above physical labour.
