The Axe Beak is a type of large prehistoric bird. The name of this creature is derived from its large beak, which can be used much like an axe. The axe beak is often called the Terror Bird after its terrifying strength and speed.
Description
Axe beaks have round, feathered bodies. Their long legs and necks are both incredibly powerful, the former allowing them to sprint at high speeds. Their pointed beaks are incredibly sharp and can rip though most materials with ease.
Behaviour
Axe beaks are known to hunt aggressively in the day, sprinting after potential prey at high speeds. Axe beaks are incredibly territorial and will often attack anything that gets too close.
Ecology
Axe beaks are nomadic carnivores, often found in grasslands and hills. They are occasionally ridden as mounts, though their violent disposition makes them quite hard to train.
