Description

Brown bears have large, wide bodies containing a high percentage of body fat. Brown bears have a strong sense of smell and are able to track specific scents across vast regions. Brown bears have powerful claws and teeth, which they use to hunt smaller creatures.

Behaviour

Though brown bears are incredibly powerful, they are limited by their natural need to hibernate through the winter. Hibernation causes brown bears to fall into a deep slumber for many months, only to reawaken when the weather is warmer.

Ecology
