Druidic Magic

Magic

Druidic Magic is the least common variety of magic, wielded only by those with a deep connection to the natural world itself. Those that can use druidic magic tap into the innate magical energy that exists around all living things, allowing them to alter their surroundings and reveal cosmic truths. Many falsely believe druidic magic to be divine in nature, due to the piety displayed by many of its wielders. Though most druids choose to worship the Nature Spirits, druidic magic is gained from a connection to the natural world, rather than devotion to a deity.

Druidic magic works best when used in nature, so many wielders of druidic magic spend as little time in civilization as possible. It is not uncommon to find both groves and sacred standing stones dotting the wilderness. These sites channel the power of druidic magic, allowing for the energy of a druid to flow freely.

Many are unaware of the existence of modern druids, falsely believing them to have been banished along with Beithíoch following the Divine War. Though it is true that many of Beithíoch’s most loyal followers joined him in his punishment, some escaped the wrath of the gods before going into hiding. These hidden druids taught their magic to worthy successors, preserving this sacred art through the years.
