Fae or Faeries are strange and mysterious creatures, originally hailing from the Fae Realms though commonly found throughout the multiverse. Powerful fae are often willing to strike up deals with mortals, bartering their goods or magic in exchange for some form of compensation. Unfortunately, the inner workings of the fae-mind are often misunderstood by those they wish to deal with. This disconnect can lead to broken promises and furious fae, who often enact cruel punishments upon those they feel have wronged them.
Some fae, such as elves, dwarves and goblins, have found homes and fostered communities in the mortal realms. These mortal-dwelling fae have established themselves as powerful forces, despite the unfamiliar landscape surrounding them. Many fae believe mingling with mortals on such a level is wrong, shunning those who dwell away from the fae realms. The mortal-dwelling fae couldn’t care less, content in the decisions they made long ago.
