Geography
Montmurr is located in the Halberd Plains along the Hopeful Road, just north of the Montmurr Woods. The surrounding area is covered mostly in farmland, though the minimal number of rivers and streams means locals must primarily rely on wells for their water supply.
Government
Montmurr is ruled by Baron Mathieu Ronchemuer, a strict but fair ruler. The baron can typically be found in the Bastion du Callon, though he is known to make occasional appearances throughout the village.
Defences
Due to the village’s proximity to Montmurr Woods, the Red Blades have been hired to protect the settlement from the looming threat of a monstrous invasion. The mercenaries have a small outpost in the village, regularly patrolling the streets throughout the day and night.
